本次TEDxGuangzhou会议选址广东科学中心,它是一个以人为本、传播科学、和谐共进,让公众在走进科学中理解科学,在传播科学中启迪人生智慧的科普教育基地。

交通指引

一 自驾车

南沙港快线和华南快速干线均可到达广州大学城,根据道路指示牌抵达广东科学中心。

1.广州市区进入广东科学中心的路线:
(1)华南快速干线由北往南行驶转南环高速公路经仑头立交转南沙港快速路进入广州大学城;
(2)科韵路由北往南行驶过琶洲大桥经仑头立交转南沙港快速路进入广州大学城;
(3)南环高速公路直接经仑头立交转南沙港快速路进入广州大学城;

2.番禺区进入广东科学中心的路线:
华南快速干线由南往北行驶经由南沙港快速路直接进入广州大学城,按沿途路标进入广东科学中心。

二 公共交通系统

1.地铁线

乘坐地铁四号线到大学城北站。从A出口出站,转乘387路公交车。

12月5日 早上 9:15, 9:30 以及 10:00 在地铁大学城北站D出口有接驳巴士直接到达会场。

2.公交车

35路(文德路–科学中心)、387路(大学城内环岛线,穗石村–科学中心)可直接到达。

Speakers

Filip Noubel: 他会10种语言,是 Internews的中国区执行主任,那是一个专门为中国记者提供关于环境、法律以及社会议题的报道培训的非盈利机构

Zhang Hai Hua: Think Like Chinese 一书之作者,该书论说了关于人际以及商业交往过程中的跨文化交际的秘密。她是咨询公司 ChinaTime Inc. 的执行主任。

朱平: 生意人、悦日人、涟漪人。台湾肯梦公司创始人。经常为PPAPER等杂志撰稿。朱平相信微型企業是覺知商業(Conscious business)最好的方式,他提出”21世紀有才能的人,將會選擇在營利型社會企業(for-profit social enterprise)開創第二生涯。” 現在的朱平致力於推廣這樣的商業模式,希望吸引更多有能力、想貢獻的年輕人,來共同創造生活,而不只是求生存 (make a life, not just make a living)。

Lonnie Hodge: 诗人、教师、演说家。曾获 National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Literature 奖励. 他为多份国际杂志和期刊撰稿。也是社会化媒体的资深咨询师。

Tom Carter: 摄影师、作家。曾出版 China: A Portrait of a People 并获得好评。该书记录了作者走遍中国拍摄各民族风情的故事。

陈晓红:建筑工程师,”一个地球社区“中国项目经理。

麦荣浩:广州独立剧团八十年代剧团团长,艺术表演策划及编导、职业影视编剧、自由撰稿人、演员、 剧场教育工作者。

Tom Stader: 社会企业家,The Library Project 发起人. 该项目为亚洲地区的农村建立图书馆,现已在中国农村建立了200个图书室。

张振辉: 华南理工大学建筑设计院建筑创作研究中心副主任建筑师,从业以来作为主创建筑师参加了2010年上海世博会中国馆、安徽省博物馆新馆、宁波帮博物馆、钱学森图书馆、烟台文化广场等一系列大型文化公共建筑的设计工作,专注于探寻中国文化与现代建筑理念在建筑实践中的融合与创新之路。同时也是雷励中国联合创办人和理事。

萧青阳:台湾著名的设计师,创意设计家, 格莱美奖协会委员, 萧青阳工作室负责人。自1983年入行,萧青阳共设计过800多张唱片美术设计。

Jon Philips:著名的数字媒体艺术家、程序员,Creativecommons文化的倡导者。

Ulrich Gall: 互联网企业家,联合工作空间的先行者。早在1995年即开发出了第一款在线即时通讯程序,以及基于计算机的远程合作程序(CSCW)。

Jose A. Rueda:他是一位科学家、企业家、音乐人。他关注于如何让设计、工程以及营销服务于社会。他曾是加拿大政府以及许多NGO和企业的咨询师。他非常热心帮助加拿大的土著社区通过可持续的技术以及商业实践走进21世纪。他现在是香港理工大学设计学院副教授、PlayLab实验室(一个致力于开发有意义的游戏的工作室)首席执行官。

Dominic Johnson Hill (江森海):创可贴T恤品牌的创建者和创意总监,北京首个原创T恤品牌。

Zhang, Hai Hua: Author, Speaker and consultant. Most recently co-wrote Think Like Chinese a book on cross-cultural communication in personal and business practices. She lived in Australia for 8 years, working in both management consulting and investment banking before relocating back to Beijing in 2002. She is the Managing Director of consulting group ChinaTime Inc.

Ping Chu: Businessmaker, Daymaker, Ripplemaker, founder of Canmeng (Aveda), Canbran (Paul Mitchell, Lebel, Utowa) and Canlove (Nonzero Restaurant). He believes that small medium enterprises are a great platform to experiment with conscious business practices. In the 21st century, the most talented people will start their second career in the for-profit social enterprise sector in the coming years. Now he focuses on creating a business/revenue model that will attract these talented people who want to make a life, not just make a living.

Lonnie Hodge: Poet, Educator, Story Teller, Author and Social Media Consultant. Professor Hodge, a receipient of many awards and fellowhips in writing and speaking including a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship in Literature, is the Author of Fishing For The Moon (poetry), An Evening with William Butler Yeats (play) and Luther (play) among others. Lonnie writes for several International journals and magazines. Lonnie was one of the first 200 members of Task Force Delta one of the earliest online think tanks that provided the structure for groups such as Xing and others in use today. Lonnie serves on the board of directors for a number of China and US based literacy and relief charities.

Tom Carter: Photographer, Writer and Educator. Tom is author of the cirically acclaimed China: A Portrait of a People that took two years of travel in China to produce. Tom is now in India and working on an Indian Portrait… book. Some of his work can be found at http://tomcarter.org

Chen Xiao Hong: engineer, One Planet Community China director.

Mai Rong Hao: founder of “80’s threate”, actor, script writer. theater educator.

Tom Stader: Educator, Artist, Social Entrepreneur. The founder of The Library Project. TLP builds libraries in rural villages and orphanages throughout Asia.To date the project is responsible for nearly 200 libraries in China in areas that prior had no access to books

Zen Faye Chang: Architect, Vice-Director of Studio 1st, ARCH. DESIGN & RESEARCH INSTITUTEin South China University of Technology. Also council member of Raleigh China.

Xiao Qing Yang: award winning designer from Taiwan, creative director at “Shout!”, where he has created startlingly fresh images for many of Taiwan’s important records and music events.

Ulrich Gall: Software entrepreneur and remote collaboration pioneer. Developed one of the first Web-based instant messaging and CSCW applications in 1995 and has been on the forefront of online innovation ever since.

Jose A. Rueda: a Canadian scientist, entrepreneur, and musician who focuses on design, engineering and marketing aspects of technology for meaningful purposes. He is passionate about helping Canada’s aboriginal communities jump right into the 21st Century via sustainable technology and business practices. He is presently Director of Game Design and Production and Assistant Professor at the School of Design of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Chief Executive Producer of PlayLab, a “meaningful games studio” in Hong Kong.
