同济大学城市研究博士,同济大学设计创意学院副院长、博导。主攻跨学科创新和可持续设计。目前担任任CUMULUS国际艺术设计院校
联盟执行委员(2010-2013)、意大利高等理工学院(ASP)科学委员会委员(2009-2011)、中国社会创新和可持续设计联盟DESIS-
China总协调人、丹麦Kolding设计学院设计研究委员会委员等学术职务。他主持的TEKTAO设计工作室完成的项目,涉及建筑、城市设计、展示设
计、品牌战略设计和研究多个领域,其中包括2010年世博会联合国馆展览展示设计、中美可持续发展中心金带生态小学、崇明仙桥可持续社区等。他曾受邀在
Changing the Change 2008、ICOGRADA 2009,Asia Design Education Conference
2009等国际设计会议做主题演讲或邀请报告。他出版了两部专著,并在城市规划学刊,建筑学报,Artifact,Design strategy
journal, Asia Design Journal等国内外学术杂志发表多篇关于城市规划,设计创新及可持续设计研究的论文。
Prof. Lou Yongqi holds a PhD on urban design theory and practice
from Tongji University; he is the Vice Dean of College of Design &
Innovation of Tongji University.
He plays an active role to promote collaborations on
interdisciplinary sustainable design education, research and practice
internationally. He is the Executive Board Member of Cumulus Association
of Universities and Colleges of Art, Design and Media

member of The Alta Scuola Politecnica (ASP) Italy (2009-2011,

International Advisor Committee of Danish Design School Kolding.
In 2002, he founded his own design studio Tektao (www.tektao.com.cn
<http://www.tektao.com.cn> ), which combine practice and research
together. He has finished large numbers of works in the area of
architecture, urban design and exhibition including United Nations
Pavilion, China-US Sustainable School in Liangping City, etc. His
Chongming Xiaoqiao Sustainable Community design Research Project
(www.designharvests.com <http://www.designharvests.com> ) is an
example of how design society can contribute to the sustainable future
in systemic and holistic ways.
His published works include two books, “Tektao Files” (2007) and
“Environmental Design” (2008), “An Acupunctural Design Approach (2010)”.
He is the author of many international and national published papers on
urban planning, design innovation and research. He was also invited as
keynote speaker or invited speaker of many international conference such
as Changingthechange 2008 (Torino), ICOGRADA 2009 (Beijing), Asia
Design Ed Conference 2009(Hongkong), etc.
